Est. 1994

Concept Design and Development, Spring Mens Ready To Wear

Est. 1994 is an early Spring delivery inspired by the roots of skate culture and aesthetic. Focusing in on California skate culture and starting with the imagery in the film Dogtown and Z-Boys skating in abandoned pools. The clothing inhabits punk and grit, but in bright and sunbleached California colors. The 90’s design aesthetic is back in full swing, referenced and worn by Gen Z. Grung is back, a touch of Kurt Cobain, but with a new, contemporary fashion forward perspective; and skateboarding is enduringly on trend, with oversized tees, tie dye, stripes, and wide leg pants. Inspiration for this collection comes vintage 90’s like Leonardo Di Caprio in the movie Romeo and Juliet and contemporary skate culture through streetwear, and active wear brands like Off-White, Supreme, Fear of God, Saturdays NYC, and more.

The color palette is acidic, energized, and sun-bleached. Ochre, yellow, lime, bright pink, and purple, cool greys indicative of concrete skate parks, sky blue navy and black.
