Cézanne

Concept Design, Fall/Winter Menswear

Cézanne, is intended to be the November drop.  This theme was inspired by the book, Cézanne’s Objects. A book of photos of old ceramics and bottles left in the artist’s studio.

Inspiration also comes from the sculptor Brancusi, his minimal and elegant works. The tone is set by the streets of Paris and its iconic cafes and bars, specifically the old Victorian style interiors and building facades. These visuals inform a collection of tailored garments and well-crafted accessories. There is an emphasis on traditional tailoring and classic menswear patterns. The key item is a classic single or double breasted wool overcoat, in camel.

The color palette is made of rich jewel tones, and gold trim and hardware. The palette includes burgundy, red, plum, chocolate brown, black, mustard, orange, dark teal and forest green.
